Campaign Propectus Template

When you're planning a new campaign (or just a new extended adventure), it helps to let the players know what you're thinking about. It lets them make the right kind of character and get their head into the game's framework. That's especially important for generic systems like GURPS, where there are no real limitations.

The form is a PDF form that you can fill out and print. You can also save the completed form if you have something like PrimoPDF that lets you print a document to a PDF file.  I've also included a simple example, and the original Scribus files that I used to generate this form, so you can modify it to your taste.

Scribus can be found at http://www.scribus.net

The original idea for the Campaign Prospectus comes from Bill Stoddard in Pyramid magazine.

Updates

  • Vertical spacing has been improved near the top of the sheet.
  • Headings have been made bold so that they are more visible.
  • Body text has been updated to use the Garamond font, which is a more fitting compliment to the URW Classico used for the headings.
